Course Description

This program is targeted to:

  • candidates who have specific industry expertise and are or will be facilitating group-based sessions or individual coaching sessions in a range of specialised, technical, business, finance or other sector qualifications, short-courses, skill sets; or workshops AND/OR
  • candidates who will be conducting competency-based assessment in a range of contexts.

Ideal for

Teachers / Lecturers / Trainers in public and private Vocational Education and Training (VET) organisations in permanent full-time, part-time or casual positions.

There are no prerequisite requirements for individual units of competency.

Course Structure

Total number of units = 10

7 core units plus

3 elective units

At least 2 elective units must be selected from the elective units listed below. One elective unit may be selected from any currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course. Elective units must be relevant to the work outcome, local industry requirements and the qualification level. Where a unit is chosen from another currently endorsed Training Package or accredited course, it must be from a qualification or course at Certificate III level or above, and must contribute towards the vocational outcome of the program.

This program is offered in a flexible delivery format.  A training plan is developed with you and you have options of group workshops, mentoring on and or off the job, online learning using Ipad and or PC's. IBT also offers  Recognition of Prior Learning; Assessment only or a combination of all of the above

Materials Fee: Hardcopy printed materials $25.00 per unit
