Course Description

This program is designed to develop and enhance a range of skills required for employment in the management of rural businesses. This course provides technical and applied business management knowledge, skills and abilities for careers for any land based business.

Ideal for

Graduates may pursue careers in managing or owning an enterprise or work within the rural services sector

Training and Employment Pathways

This program will provide farmers, farm business partners and farm managers with the skills required to make their farm business more sustainable.

Course Structure

A total of 10 units of competency must be completed. For a Diploma of rural Business Maangement at least 8 units of competency presented for this qualification must relate to rural business work procedures, activitiies or contexts. These units must be relevant to work undertaken in the rural sector.

This program is offered in a flexible delivery format.  A training plan is developed with you and you have options of group workshops, mentoring on and or off the job, online learning using Ipad and or PC's. IBT also offers  Recognition of Prior Learning; Assessment only or a combination of all of the above

Materials Fee: Hardcopy printed materials $25.00 per unit
