Course Description

This program is targeted to participants who have industry experience and are or will be managing an office and undertaking a range of specialised, technical and managerial tasks, as an Office Manager or similar.

Training and Employment Pathways

This qualification can be completed through the following entry points: 

  • After achieving the BSB30407 Certificate III in Business or other relevant qualifications, OR
  • Providing evidence of competency in the majority of units for the BSB30407 Certificate III in Business or other relevant qualifications, OR
  • Demonstrated vocational experience in providing administrative or operational support, without a formal business administration qualification.

Vocational outcomes/Career opportunities

Upon successful completion of this program candidates will have attainted advanced technology, project management and financial management skills, people management skills and knowledge for employment at team leader level in administrative business operations.

The Trainer/Assessor will advise participants of employment options and the process for undertaking the BSB Certificate IV in Business Administration; Small Business Management; Frontline Management or other training package.

Course Structure

This qualification has a total of 8 units - 5 administration units and 3 elective Units. (Refer to online brochure for full details).

 

This program is offered in a flexible delivery format.  This may take the form of Training and Assessment (classroom and/or workplace based); On-line learning; Recognition of Prior Learning; Assessment only or a combination of all of the above.
