Government Funded Training Fees and Charges Policy

Innovative Business Training now has government-funded training places available. Government funded training must now comply with the 2009 Ministerial Directions about Fees. Please refer to the Ministerial Directions regarding the new fees and charges for government funded training places.

Concessions:

• No concessions are to be granted for Skills Deepening (Diploma) enrolments, unless the applicant can provide evidence of extreme hardship. In this instance, IBT will grant a full exemption.
• A concession may be granted for Skills Building (Cert III and Cert IV) enrolments. The applicant must provide a copy of their Commonwealth Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card or Veteran's Gold Card to be kept on file.  In this instance the enrolment fee will be $120.

Refunds:

• If a student withdraws within four weeks of enrolment a full refund will be granted.
• If a student withdraws after four weeks of enrolment a full refund will be granted, less the minimum fee.
